3M Cold Shrink Insulator 8427-16 is an EPDM rubber cold shrink tube on a removable core that provides primary insulation and a water resistant seal for solid dielectric insulated wires and cable splices rated up to 1 kV. It installs by hand with no tools or heat and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use, including direct burial and submersible applications.
