3M Performance Plus 8979 is a high-performance black duct tape designed for indoor/outdoor use, offering UV and weather resistance plus clean removal from most opaque surfaces for up to 6 months. Its polyethylene film over cloth scrim with rubber adhesive tears cleanly by hand, resists curling, and helps with sealing, patching, bundling, and general maintenance and repair.
